Heera Films is made by many hands, but not all in the same way.
Some bring stories. Some bring craft. Some build the engine that keeps it all moving.
There are three ways to join us: each different in shape, but united by the same principles: clarity, intention, and shared creation.
➊ Propose a Short Film
We are looking for stories that can be told with little, but say a lot: films with clarity, urgency, and substance, even when made with minimal means.
What we’re looking for
We are in the early stage of Heera and selecting short films that are:
- High in substance: the concept must carry weight, even with minimal means.
- Minimal by intention few resources, strong idea.
- Simple to execute: ideally 1–2 actors, 1–2 locations, 1-day shoot.
The Process
We’re not looking for small ideas: just focused ones that can travel far on foot. How it works:
- Submit your idea: just the essentials: what it is, why it matters, why now
- Production check: is it feasible now, within our budget model?
- Aesthetic & substance review: does it align with our principles, even if with small adjustments?
- Decision:
- If yes → we move to production
- If not executable now, but philosophically aligned → we will add it to our roadmap
➋ Join as Cast or Crew
We are always looking for people who know how to bring excellence to small great teams: who understand that every role counts and who care as much about the process as the result.
What we’re looking for
We work lean. Every person on set matters. We’re looking for collaborators who bring clarity, focus, and mutual respect.
- Cast and crew who value both art and structure
- Professionals who take timing, process, and detail seriously
- People ready to collaborate under clear conditions and shared accountability
The Process
What to expect when you step forward, and how we build teams that work with intention:
- Apply with your role and interest
- If there’s a match, we reach out for immediate productions
- If not now, you’re added to our crew database. We draw from it regularly as new films are greenlit.
➌ Join the Company
Heera is more than the films we make, it’s a system being built from scratch, and we need people who want to help shape the structure that makes consistent, meaningful cinema possible.
What we’re looking for
We’re currently looking for collaborators in key areas:
- Production & Operations: manage timelines, logistics, and complexity across multiple shorts
- Talent & Casting: support curation and recruitment across cast and crew
- Monetization Strategy: define and implement strategies for:
- Festival submissions and positioning
- PR and communications
- Grant applications (public and institutional)
- Private fundraising and investor outreach
- Distribution and visibility
- Finance, Legal & Control: budgeting, compliance, contracts, and equity tracking
